Great
Healers & Their Tragic Lives,
Why It's Been,Yet Needn't Be!
Have
you ever truly sat down and spoken with a great healer asking about
their childhood and then shudder in amazement how they ever lived
through it? In their story you may hear they endured sexual, physical,
emotional or mental abuse. In most cases it's a myriad of them all.
It's
not surprising to hear a statement like; he raped me every chance
he had or I was beaten so much I don't remember when I didn't cringe
when they walked by me. You'll probably notice that in each statement
it's not some drawn out emotional "poor me" story. The
statements are non-chalant and the emotional attachment most would
expect, just isn't there. Stranger still, it seems the better the
healer, the worse the childhood. As a healer, I've seen people respond
to a statement like this with a look of wonderment, wishing on some
level that they could have experienced this in their lives. They
actually attribute the capacity to help others heal to the extent
of atrocities one has gone thru in order to "become" a
healer. This belief simply isn't true.
So
why is it that the "tragic healer" has such great success?
Let's start with what a healer is. A healer is a facilitator for
Creator's Divine Intervention. Quite simply put, a healer is a servant
of God and knows that it is by God's will and not ours that miracles
happen. Now that we've established this - What is the difference
between a good healer and a great healer? There has to be some great
secret, some sacred missing keys, right? There are several factors,
yet the simplicity of these might surprise you.
Let's
discuss the first factor and what I feel is the most important in
this article. To understand this factor I'd ask these two questions.
1. How strong is your connection to God? 2. Who are you making your
Source? I'm not talking about your healings alone. I mean every
moment in your life. From your bad day, to deliberating how to live,
raise your children, clean your house, nurture your soul, replenish
your Spirit and interact with others. When things are going great
who do you thank first? Do you go to your husband, your wife, perhaps
a sibling or friend? The only reason that a great healer becomes
a great healer is they know who their Source is. They are willing
to dedicate their lives to serving God in whatever capacity need
be and their connection to Source is amazing!
Do
you understand the tragic childhood now? It's when you don't have
a support system in these situations that you blame, hate and deny
God or you turn everything over and make him your Source. Most of
the time, it is both. I can honestly say I blamed and hated God
for years. My hatred and anger was so engulfing that's all I could
see. In this case, you either hit your breaking point and turn to
God or go on hating until the day you die. Honestly, I think a difficult
childhood is easier than a good one as a healer in making God your
source. I state this because when you let yourself realize you need
a Source, God is the only one there.
So
let's say you have had a great childhood. How do you make God your
Source without all the unnecessary drama? Its simple yet takes practice.
Pray and make sure that your crown chakra is connected to God at
all times. When you are going through difficult times, ask God for
the answer. When something goes great say, Thank you God! and mean
it. Now does this mean you don't go to friends or family for support
and to share your joys with? Of course not, our family and friends
are here to share in our joys and troubles. They are here to support
us, but they are not our source. Only the Creator is. I sincerely
hope this helps you along your path of healing.
